Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, founded in 1824 and located in Troy, New York, is an esteemed private research university situated approximately 150 miles north of New York City. The campus reflects a blend of historical and modern architecture with facilities that support its reputation as a leading institution in engineering, science, and technological research. Known for its rigorous academic environment, Rensselaer offers a range of undergraduate and graduate programs with a high level of selectivity in admissions.
